This is my first blu-ray player, so I won't try to compare its picture or sound or even delay performance to other players. I will say that the picture quality blew me away when I put in my first blu-ray disc (Blade Runner, natch).
The main reason for this review is to note a problem I've been having with the unit. Intermittently, when starting play back of any kind using HDMI/1080p (whether from the disc, or from Vudu, or from Netflix) there will be no sound. If I stop the playback and restart, it plays fine, starting from where I left off.
