The folks at Best Buy raved about this machine. Reviews looked ok and was on sale, so I got it. Easy set up. Except for wireless. Took numerous times to get my router, new n router, recognized. Put in the security code. Refused to automatically pick up anything. So, I put it in manually, would not connect. I have six computers running on wireless, I know how it works. Ok, router close, so I run a cable. Connect! Tried Netflix. Worked, for nearly a minute. Stopped, reloaded, started again, and again, and again. Play back? Had two new blu ray discs. First one, picture spectacular! But, it kept giving a white flash every few minutes. Also, very very noticeable lip sync issue. Tried second blu ray disc, also new. No white flashes, but very very noticeable lip sync issue. Tried regular dvds. Up convert picture was only ok. Lip sync issue still there. Did firmware update, with no improvement. Then, one last try of blu ray, machine froze, then eventually restarted disc. Did this five times before playing. Back to Best Buy. They think I got a bad machine. I get a little skeptical when something goes that wrong, and refused a replacement. I took home a Sony BDP-N460! Totally different experience! Everything worked!Get more detail about LG BD 390 Network Blu-ray Disc Player.
