After getting past the initial sticker shock of the lg bd 390 its a fantastic device. This is my first blu ray player so can't compare to others but I love the video streaming from Netflix and YouTube. The video quality is perfect and with the 7.1 surround sound capabilities it has the ability to be the heart of the most advanced home theater system around! It's so easy to use my 3 year old can use it whenever he wants to watch a movie. It also has a usb port on the front so you can view pictures or listen to mp3s through it. The remote isn't anything fancy(no backlighting) but it does the job.
