My wife bought me this outstanding player as a birthday gift. Knowing how incredibly picky I am about my home electronics she did her research. CNet rate this as the best on the market for price and features.
I found the setup extremely easy. I started out using it on my 36" standard TV through my home theatre system and it works fine (so if you want to watch Blue Ray through a standard TV it will do it - although why would you!).
Anyway I then set it up on a 1080p HDTV and it works just as well (except of course the picture quality is great)
I love the ability to stream Netflix - we watch movies and TV series off our "Watch Instantly" Netflix queue without a problem (wireless net connections work fine but wired is definately better).
Regular software updates install automatically and deliver new services/features as they become available.
Oh ... and it has awesome picture quality and sound - even upscaled regular DVD's look great.
I don't know what else you could ask for in a Blue-Ray player. Get more detail about LG BD 390 Network Blu-ray Disc Player.
