LG BD 390 Network Blu-ray Disc Player Best Quality

Wireless WIN! I connected the LG BD390 to my HDTV with an HDMI cable, plugged it in, turned it on, and enjoyed Netflix's 12,000 title (and growing) instant streaming library. Don't believe the haters; the LG BD390 works with Apple's Airport Extreme. It finds you network. You enter your password. It's that easy. Updating the firmware was as simple as selecting "yes". Netflix is also easy. You get a code, enter it on Netflix's website from your computer, and then watch movies in your instant Queue. For Youtube, browse the top videos or search by name. We were watching our home movies on Youtube in less than a minute. Typing with the remote is not easy, but everything else is.

And yeah, the LG BD390 also plays Blu-rays.

The missing component is solid streaming from the Mac. A disc for a Windows PC media server is included, but fat load of good that does for Mac owners. I had some luck running Rivet by Cynical Peak Software. I was able to stream pics and movies (in mp4 and not DIVX as I expected). Hopefully I can find a work-around for music too. The LG crashes a lot during the menus, but content does stream. My home movies never looked better. Please LG, help further the cause for us Mac owners who like your player so much.Get more detail about LG BD 390 Network Blu-ray Disc Player.
